Life can turn on a dime. Everyone has situations when the unforeseen changes plans. It could be as simple as getting stuck in heavy traffic while driving to an appointment, or a friend making a thoughtless comment that hurts.
Prayer can be difficult when we feel most needy and vulnerable. These are times when it is best to sit still, turn one's hands palms up, and breathe in the presence of God. Rather than words, let the simple act of openness and need be your prayer.
