Springs in the desert

 

Whitewater River

Springs will burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The parched ground will become a pool, with springs of water in the thirsty land. ~Isaiah 35:6-7

I drove to Whitewater Preserve near Palm Springs, California this past Sunday afternoon. I took this photo of Whitewater River that also captures the mountain peaks snow pack that is slowly melting and providing water for the river. 

In speaking of God making streams bursting forth in the wilderness, Isaiah chapter 35 is encouraging to those who are thirsty for hope, encouragement and refreshment.
